BEC on the Nano

Hello,

I just ordered two Nano's for my project. I don't need the BEC capability and was wondering if the voltage reg can be removed without affecting operation (assuming 5v coming in on the r/x connection)?

The voltage regulator is there to feed the ESC's microcontroller and other electronic components, so don't remove it from the board. If you don't need BEC, just isolate the red wire from the receiver plug.
