Solenoid not working.

guys,

I just bought a 6 volt solenoid from caswell, and its not playing nice. It is supposedly a "normally closed" setup, but it seems to be behaving badly about 70% of the time. It leaks air whether electricity is applied to it or not. I am using a 7.4 volt lipo. Is there any maintenance that i can perform? like i said, sometimes it works, but most of the time not, as if there is something keeping it from closing all the way.

Maybe activate it to open mode and blow it out with lube, electronics cleaner etc or something... clean it out. maybe something is stuck on the seat.
