Here is my scratch built (60% finished) radio controlled Silverseas Cruises, cruise ship Silver Cloud.
About three years work to get to this stage. The photos are of her sea trials back on Jan 3 in Manly Dam (Sydney Australia).
Enjoy:)

Not by a long way Chuck, but it will be done this year.
Deadline is annual regatta - first w/end in Dec.
Have done a lot more work on her stern decks details. Should post some more photos here soon.

No kit that is 100% scratch build except for her propellers and bow thrusters which are raboesch ones.
I got plans from Anb-online.org (an Italian model ship / sub plan repository)
To see her in person - come to the Task Force 72 annual regatta in Wentworth Falls (90km/h west of Sydney Australia) Dec 5 and 6, 2009.

Well here she is finished and launched on the weekend (Dec 5 and 6, 2009) at the 2009 Task Force 72 Annual regatta
I like building targets but I find running them I quickly get board - the solution is drive a sub! However, I have got to say in all the years I have been building Targets - this is the most fun and enjoyable thing to drive. Spent some 3 hours at the stick on this over two days -I'm still grinning!

The Russian Fleet was prominant in the anchorage as Silver Cloud departs

The very few non-military ships on hand Silver Cloud, Cape Don (white coloured bouy layer) and Wyuna (foreground) share the Anchorage with Godavari of the Indian Navy.

Just part of the vast anchorage and 1/72 ships that turn up at the Task Force 72 Annual Regatta
