Designed for the smaller models, such as the Revell German Submarine Class 212A, and the 214.

This 1.5” diameter cylinder sports the simplicity of the Caswell Snort System. It incorporates a brushless motor, speed control and servos already installed. This is a drop-in unit, virtually Ready To Run.

This particular unit runs a single prop output, but could easily be adapted to run a twin screw setup. Further designs are in the works!

System looks like it would be easy to install and simple to operate. I've got a Revell 212 sitting in a box waiting for this to come out.

I've been experimenting with a 1.25-inch, 1/16" wall Lexan tube and I think I can get that to work. Might have a working prototype by the end of the year.

Is that with a new removable cap between the ballast compt and electronics?
How about external battery or internal battery?

How about a sneak peak then cause my 212 got a little taste and is bugging me for more!
Did I mention I saw a site where someone made a conversion on a 1/144 type 21. I wonder if it would be possible....

Bite me, Neutron-Boy!
We'll have some photos of the new SubDriver up soon with practical installations in the many different 'intermediate' sized plastic model kit submarines out there today. Would you believe I can even fit a variant of this thing into the small Revell, SKIPJACK.

actually yes I can believe it but can you get the the proper shafts run and the right amount of foam and weight in there.

It'll be a dynamic diver (no room for ballast tank or associated hardware). No sweat.

dynamic is very plausible then. you wont have to compensate for the pump weight and can use the space for battery. Will the surfaces be large enough to get the required force to dynamic though? The only way to compensate for inadequate surfaces is to either make bigger out of scale ones or to make the thing ballasted so low in the water it wants to sink but then if you go to deep you run the risk of it sinking out if you can power your way back up. I know Im am not talking about anything new to you but I am curious what you think. Also will you be using a wet brshless set up aswell?

David,
But you only refer to the Skipjack - having no ballast. The other models will Snort.
