This is the most complete Water Tight Cylinder (WTC) kit on the market today. Save money by doing the simple assembly work yourself without having to worry about the more tricky parts of the system, because they are already done!

As this will be the first sub that I have attempted, will there be instructions similar to the Gato available for fitting and assembly of the WTC and all related components?

Yes, and we're covering the boat with an ongoing report of the build. We don't have a DVD of this, although a good deal of the Gato work is similar.

The Sub-driver (WTC) install is pretty straightforward.

I haven't been able to find one, but it could be poor search technique on my part.

I have the WTC and the ballast kit, but I'm stuck without the fittings kit that's mentioned in the Cabal Report.

Will the Type VII project get back in work soon?

I'm on it starting next week. Just as soon as I wrap up the little SKIPJACK fittings kit and 1.25 SD.

I bought the Type VII set-up for my son for a Christmas present and he'll really need the fittings kit to make a workable sub. He's made some progress drilling ballast holes, but stopped because he would need a lot of help to make workable planes on his own.

He's also really excited about the torpedoes.

I think he should pay more attention to the little Skipjack, which will be much more entertaining than any static or straight running torpedo.
