custom WTC
main motor is 400 size brushless outrunner 700kv with 6:1 planetary gearbox running 5" 5 bladed resin prop
thruster motors are 370 brushless outrunner 1300kv direct drive to graupner 1761 azimuth drive units
main motor and thruster motors controlled by Castle Creations Mamba Micro ESCs
ballast tank is an Engel 500ml piston tank with a sbts (servo ballast tank switch) semi-proportional control unit.
WTC consists of 4 seperate cylinders, three 3" and one 4"
WTCs are plexiglass with cast alumilite endcaps
6 volt electrical system (2 x 7amp 6volt SLA)
futaba 9C super radio with hitec 75mhz synthesized module
functions:
3 ESCs
3 steering servos
SBTS
16 18000 mcd 5mm LEDs with a electronic on/off switch
will be upgrading to Sombra Labs Receivers, currently using Futaba 9 channel Rx on channel 88
