Hi! Folks! I've been learning CAD for the past while, as it keeps me out of mischief and hopefully stirs up the few remaining brain cells occasionally. I initially was using Autodesk 123 Design, but found it a little too simplistic, so elevated to Fusion 360.

Lars Christiansen is their main man and he does a daily lesson on youtube. I watch the 30 minute episode live at 3pm EST most days, and If I miss it, he uploads the recording. If you're interested in learning CAD and CAM, I think you'll find these 'lessons' very helpful.

I thought I'd post this link today because Lars is explaining 'lofting, to make the ribs in an airplane wing. I'm sure one could use the techniques here to do the bulkheads in a submarine hull.

If you've never done CAD but want to learn, start at episode #1
All I do is go to youtube, enter Lars Christiansen #xxx and his episodes pop up

I'm out of the submarine game completely now. I was told to stay away from radio transmitters after they stuck a pacemaker in my chest. If the missus found out a transmitter could effect me, she'd have total control. I'd be r/c'd into all sorts of chores. Ha! Ha!

Stop messing about - just get a Sub-driver!

Hey, Boss! Good to see you puttering around again. I would rather swallow molten metal than let the robots take over. But, if CAD blows up your skirt, who am I to throw rocks. Thanks for the links, I'll take a look-see.

"... well, that takes care of Jorgenson's theory!"
