  • Real nuke submarine dimensions - length and beam, where to where?

With reference to real nuke submarine dimensions, where is the specified length taken from - does it include the propeller and its cone, or is the length quoted taken from bow to the stern end without including the propeller? I dug around and couldn't find anywhere which gave a definitive answer. Also, is the beam the widest circumference of the circular hull or would the beam be the widest point of the sub eg if the stern plane guards extend beyond the hull would that measurement be the beam?
